For holding a disucssion on the forthcoming teacher training workshop in information and communication technologies (ICT) for the Arab Maghreb and Gulf countries, Hatem Ben Salem Minister of Education met with the Director General of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf countries, in Tunis. The project is a part of the educational development of the Arab World that aims to empower teachers and enhance education skills, in order to master new educational processes and methods.
The discussion also supported the review of the ways that require implementation for further expansion of cooperation, training and coordination of the efforts in education sector, order to address the issue of quality regarding development of human resources. Ben Salem stressed the importance of national education systems in Arab countries in monitoring digital progress and in producing educational programs and digital educational contents. Ben Ali Abdelkhalek Al Karni stressed the importance of implementing a teacher training strategy in the production of digital educational contents.
