CIDA ICT Academy has provided SAP ERP training to more than 150 students with the vast majority employed by companies that run SAP. The SAP Africa and CIDA City Campus partnership was sealed in form of an agreement in presence of Max Fuzani, SAP Africa's University Alliances Manager, and Wiseman Jack, acting Executive Dean of CIDA City Campus. Students of CIDA City Campus students are to have a full access to the SAP University Alliances TERP10 training course following the signing yesterday of an agreement. The agreement aims to introduce the programme as part of the CIDA Bachelor of Business Administration curriculum.
The signing ceremony was hosted at the CIDA City Campus, Johannesburg and attended by senior CIDA staff members and students, as well as senior SAP executives. Offered in more than 30 countries as a part of SAP's education and training initiatives, the TERI 10 course aims to equip students with a deeper understanding of all functional areas within SAP software and thereby better prepare them to advance their careers in the fields of ICT and business management. The course not only introduces students to the principles behind business process, but exposes them to SAP ERP by working on functional versions of the software in simulated environments.
