Intel Corporation lauded Zinox computers for it's outstanding contributions to ICT education in Nigeria. Reportedly, Intel recounted that since last two years Zinox has relentlessly engaged in educational ICT projects and successfully deployed Intel powered classmate PC projects to 210 secondary schools in the country. This also comprises of the wireless internet connectivity and training of teachers as ICT champions.

In May 2010, the Federal Government of Nigeria approved that Zinox may carry out its initiative of carrying out Intel-powered classmate PC projects to an additional 201 secondary schools across the country. Zinox, therefore, deployed over 80% of all Intel-powered classmate PC projects in Nigeria.
