IIT Bomaby and US University partner for student exchange programme

Brown University from the United States and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay are planning to sign an agreement to start a student exchange programme in October 2010. Representatives of the university are currently in India to explore the possibility of tie-ups with educational institutions.

Matthew Gutmann, Vice-President for International Affairs, Brown University mentioned that one semster would be covered by two students of respective universities in the other country. Devang Khakhar, Director, IIT Bombay described that the agreement is to focus on the undergraduate students.
