National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the information brochure for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020. Other than English, the brochure has been released in Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil and Urdu. It contains important information for the candidates and can be accessed on NTA’s official website for NEET – https://ntaneet.nic.in.
Undergraduate courses at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) are no longer outside NEET’s purview. The brochure has confirmed that the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS and JIPMER will also be made through NEET and therefore, the number of seats has also increased.
Application forms for NEET (UG) 2020 are also available on NTA’s official website. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam need to complete their application by January 1, 2020. It is mandatory for the candidates to possess a valid email ID and mobile number in order to complete the registration process.
NEET (UG) 2020 will be conducted by NTA for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental and other Colleges/Institutes in the country.
The exam will be conducted across the country on May 3 from 14:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs and information related to the examination centre and reporting time will be provided on the admit card which will be available for download from March 27.
