In a recent development, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has made thumb impressions mandatory for the candidates while filling up the application form.
NTA has also made it a mandate for applicants to upload their postcard-size photograph with 80% of face coverage, ears visible on a white background.
The online registration for NEET UG 2020 has begun on Monday, 2 December, 2019, and interested candidates can register their applications in their official website (ntaneet.nic.in)
The last date for NEET UG 2020 registration is December 31. The examination is scheduled to be held on from 2 pm to 5 pm on May 3, 2020.
Presently, NEET 2020 is the only undergraduate level medical entrance examination in the country. The examination is required for admissions to all medical/ dental seats in the country, including in AIIMS, JIPMER, private medical colleges, state-run medical colleges, AFMC, ESIC, etc
