West Bengal Board to declare class 10 Results by August

Providing relief to students, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has completed the Class 10 Madhyamik Board exam answer sheet evaluation process. The West Bengal Board is expected to announce the WBBSE class 10 examination results by August 2020.

The West Bengal Board results 2020 will be released on the official website – wbbse.org and wbresults.nic.in.

Students who have appeared for the examinations are advised to visit the official website for more updates.

West Bengal Board President Kalyanmoy Ganguly said the board is expected to take a month to complete the post-evaluation process following which the results will be declared by the board by August 2020.

West Bengal Board commenced the Class 10 Examination on February 18, 2020. The last examination was conducted on February 27, 2020.

Over 10.15 lakh students are said to have appeared for the class 10 board examinations from which 5,76,009 are girls which accounts for 56.70 percent of the total number of students.

As per reports, two examinations are remaining for the Class 12 Board Examinations which will be conducted by the Board in June 2020. The West Bengal Class 12 Examinations were scheduled to be conducted from March 12 to 27, 2020, across the state.

Earlier, the board had made an announcement that the Class 11 students of West Bengal Board will be promoted to the next class for the new academic year.
