In the wake of Corona pandemic, Odisha government has decided to start online classes for college and universities from July 13. The Director of Higher Secondary Education has asked all the principals of the higher secondary schools to prepare the online content for students.

The Higher Secondary Education department has asked the schools to follow rules and advisories issued to fight against COVID19 and start the online classes.

The state government has further asked the undergraduate colleges to form WhatsApp and e-mail groups of students for the classes. Each group should not exceed more than 32 students.

The online classes will be conducted by the teachers for at least 2 to 3 hours a day for three days a week. The classes will be conducted with the help of Google Meet, Zoom, Skype, and other digital platforms.

Teachers will have to maintain an attendance register for students who will be attending the classes. Moreover, the classes will be conducted from the college premises.

Meanwhile, Odisha state board has cancelled the remaining papers for Class 12 that was scheduled to be conducted from March 23 to March 28, 2020.
