Pokhriyal extends greetings

The entire nation is celebrating Hindi Diwas 2020, September 14. Every year Hindi Diwas is celebrated with speeches, awards, and many other events to celebrate the Hindi language. Schools and other educational institutions also celebrate the day with various events and programmes.

Today on the 50th birthday of Beohar Rajendra Simha, Hindi was adopted as one of the official languages of India.

On this occasion, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal extended his greetings on the day of “Hindi Diwas” to the nation. Taking the twitter, he said language is very important for any country’s cultural, political and social development. Language plays a vital role in the unity of a country.

Hindi was adopted as one of the two official languages of the Republic of India by the Constituent Assembly of India. Beohar Rajendra Simha along with Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Kaka Kalelkar, Maithili Sharan Gupt, and Seth Govind Das took an effort to place the Hindi language as one of the official languages of the country.
