With the increasing demand for cancellation of CBSE exams due to COVID-19, the board exam for Class 10 was canceled, while the board exams for the CBSE grade 12 were postponed until 2021. The decision was postponed. In addition to the CBSE, many states such as Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra have postponed their board reviews due to an alarming increase in COVID cases. List of states that canceled or postponed board reviews

Gujarat – The new dates for the 10th and 12th GSEB 2021 classes will be announced after a review meeting on May 15, 2021. In addition, the state government has decided to promote students from 1st to 9th grade and 11th grade.

Punjab: The state government has decided to cancel the 2021 Punjab Board exam for grades 5, 8 and 10 after the COVID-19 pandemic. The twelfth review of the Punjab Council in 2021 was also postponed.

Uttar Pradesh: The state government has decided to postpone the UP Council 10 and 12 reviews until 2021 in light of the worsening COVID-19 situation in the state.

Haryana – The Haryana government has decided to cancel 10th grade exams in 2021 and postpone twelfth grade exams as COVID-19 cases have increased. The move came after the Central Council on Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the cancellation of its board exams for tenth grade students and the postponement of the twelfth grade exams.

Odisha – The state government has decided to postpone the BSE Odisha Matric 2021 exam and the CHSE Odisha Plus Two 2021 exam due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases.

Chhattisgarh – Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel decided on Sunday to postpone the upcoming Tenth Class Council exams until 2021.

Rajasthan – The state government postponed testing for grades 10 and 12 on Wednesday. In addition, students in grades 8, 9, and 11 are promoted. The government previously announced a promotion for students in grades 1-7.

Uttar Pradesh – The fate of more than 56 Lakh-UP students who must take the State Board of Education exams for grades 10 and 12 as of May 8 is on hold as 17 of the 19 officials who are Eligible to respond to a call to arrange testing positive for COVID-19.

Haryana- The state government will meet on Thursday to decide whether to take the State Board exams for grades 10 and 12. The exams are from April 22 to May 15 for grade 10 and from April 20 to 17 April for class 12.
