
After the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) released the scorecard of the computer-based Common Admission Test (CAT) 2019, now it’s time for students to curiously wait for the IIMs to release the shortlist for the final selection round.
IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kozhikode had released the shortlist candidates list for the MBA batch for the 2020-2022 academic session on January 6. IIM Calcutta and IIM Lucknow had released the list on January 8. IIM-Bangalore had released the list
The candidates who had appeared for the exam can check their shortlist status using their CAT login IDs.

Know about: IIM Shortlisting and Selection Process
There are three stages for the IIM shortlisting and selection process for MBA admission including three stages.
Stage 1: CAT exam score
After the CAT result is announced, the candidates can apply for Written Ability Test (WAT)/Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round in each of the IIMs
Stage 2: Candidates screening for WAT-GD-PI
The institute shortlists the candidates who applied for WAT/GD-PI on the basis of their CAT score and academic record and send them a notification to attend the same.
Stage 3: Calculation of Score and Final Selection
A cumulative score is calculated on the basis of their CAT score, WAT-PI performance, academic history, work experience, diversity, etc. to finalize their selection.
