The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Class 10 Second Board Examination Result 2026 shortly, with lakhs of students awaiting their updated scores under the board’s new two-exam system. While CBSE has not officially confirmed the exact date and time, students are advised to regularly monitor official platforms for updates.
Students will be able to access their scorecards through official websites, DigiLocker, and the UMANG application using their roll number, school number, and admit card details. The online marksheet will be provisional, while original documents will be issued later through schools.
The Class 10 second board examinations were conducted from May 15 to May 21, 2026, primarily for students seeking score improvement and compartment candidates. Around 6.8 lakh students reportedly appeared for the examination.

Under CBSE’s new examination framework, the better score obtained between the two attempts will be considered for the final academic record, giving students an additional opportunity to improve their performance without losing their earlier scores.
Students can check their results on official portals including CBSE websites, DigiLocker, and UMANG. In case of discrepancies in personal details or marks, they should immediately contact their schools. CBSE will also provide options for verification of marks and re-evaluation after the results are declared.
The Phase 2 results are considered an important milestone as they represent one of the first major outcomes of CBSE’s newly introduced dual-exam system, which aims to reduce exam pressure and provide greater flexibility to students.
