
To provide skill education to students, Delhi University has launched the Delhi School of Skill Enhancement and Entrepreneurship Development (DSSEED). The DSSEED is a flagship institute set up under the Institution of Eminence (IoE) scheme which will be headed by innovator and Biochemist Professor Vijar K Chaudhary.
The newly launched DSSEED aims to bridge the gap in the current knowledge delivery by initiating training programmes, the innovative mechanism will be employed in an integrated manner to shape young minds o meet the global needs and fulfill the dream of ‘Make in India, Made for World’
The School of Skill Enhancement and Entrepreneurship Development will consist of multiple backgrounds including Sciences (Biological, Chemical, Physical, Mathematical Sciences, and Informatics), Humanities, Social Science, Commerce and Economics, Finance, and Management.

The advisory council consisting of eminent scientists and innovation facilitators under the Chairmanship of Professor NK Ganguly, Former Director-General of Indian Council of Medical Research will guide the Delhi School of Skill Enhancement and Entrepreneurship Development.
According to a statement released by the university incubation facilities for the students and entrepreneurs will be provided which will also be useful in improving the research interests of college teachers who are not able to take ideas forward due to lack of necessary infrastructure and the right environment at their place of work.
