
M Devraj, an experienced officer of the Indian Administrative Service batch 1996, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Technical Education Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. He was previously working as CMD, at UPPCL. M Devraj brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. He has served as the Collector & District Magistrate in ten districts across Uttar Pradesh, overseeing populations ranging from 2 to 4 million people.
M Devraj has an extensive background in policy-making, spanning various sectors including Agriculture, Rural Development, and Education—primary, secondary, higher, technical, agricultural, and medical. His work in Public Works and Land Revenue Administration also equips him with a holistic understanding of governance.
