Chartered Facility Management Institute (CFMI), an India-Austrian initiative, supported by FM Zone, GIREM and Real Estate User Group (REUG), has launched international certification program for working professionals on facility management.
“The aim is to educate professional facility managers, in accordance with the demand of the companies. Facility management is more than performing services in a building. It is a strategic management task, which defines the demand, sources it and monitors the changes in the core business. The goal is to support the company with infrastructure and services in an optimal way,” Uday Kumar, Director CFMI said in a release.
The Vienna University of Technology has a long tradition in facility and real estate management education.
