MCC releases allotment letter for Round 2 PG/MDS

MCC releases allotment

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the allotment letter for the second round of counselling of NEET PG/MDS Exam 2020. Candidates can visit the official website to download their letters once they fill the choices in the registration form on mcc.nic.in.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in the second round would be required to be present with their documents to be verified in the respective colleges. The physical reporting dates have been extended to June 30 as per the latest notification released by NEET.

The notice reads, “In view of the Physical Reporting to be conducted for Round 2020 amid the unprecedented receiving lot of representations from Colleges as well as candidates regarding problems being faced in commuting to the allotted colleges. The MCC has taken a very sympathetic view in this regard and has issued following instructions for colleges and candidates”.

One of the major information from the notice is that the letter of allotment would be treated as an e-pass or Curfew pass for candidates with an attendant to be present in the allotted college at the time of reporting. This has been done in view of current restrictions imposed in the country related to interstate travelling.

The candidates who have been upgraded for Round 2 would be relieved from their previous colleges and can report to the newly allotted college of Round 2. They do not need to be physically present in the college allotted earlier.
