CISCE releases revised assessment scheme for pending papers

After cancelling class 10th and 12th exams, CISCE Board has issued the revised assessment scheme for which pending papers. The new scheme will be used by the CISCE to evaluate students and award marks to them for the remaining subjects of class 10 and class 12. The new Marks imputation formulae has been released by the CISCE Board on the official website- cisce.org.

CISCE Board has released a detailed account of the new assessment policy on the basis of which students will be awarded marks for the papers that were cancelled in the light of COVID-19 pandemic.

While releasing the ICSE Revised Assessment Policy, CISCE Board said that the new Marks imputation formulae has been designed in a way to test both General Academic Ability, through average marks scored by the students in other subjects and students’ proficiency in the respective subject through the internal assessment and project work.

The evaluation matrix has been developed after a thorough study of the previous year’s results and to ‘ensure fairness to all the candidates’ who appeared in the board examinations this year.
