There is a dilemma witnessed across the country over the CBSE dates. The announcement of CBSE 2021 Board exam dates are highly anticipated by students and other stakeholders across the country. Various state boards such as Maharashtra and Gujarat postponing the Class 10 and 12 Board exams 2021 to May. The boards are also expecting CBSE to take a decision on similar lines.

Maharashtra state Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad recently confirmed that conducting Maharashtra Class 10 and 12 Board exams prior to May 2021 is not possible. The Gujarat State Government also announced that the GSEB Class 10th and 12th Board exams 2021 will be conducted in May next year. The Andhra Pradesh State Government has also hinted on a delay in the conducting of Board Intermediate Exams in April instead of February.

The CBSE along with CISCE had said both the two National Boards are contemplating on whether to Postpone Class 10 and 12 Board exams 2021 or reduce syllabus or employ a combination of both. The CBSE usually announces the date sheet for the Class 10 and 12 Board exams in the month of December.

With the postponement of Class 10 and 12 Board exams by several State Boards, CBSE’s decision is highly anticipated. There has been no update on CBSE 2021 date sheet as of now and is expected to come from the Ministry of Education directly.
