To increase the efficiency of primary school students, the Yogi Adityanath government has launched the “Prerak Mission”, which will change the image of these schools in Uttar Pradesh in the next six months.
Prerak’s mission will be carried out in every elementary school in the state and every district will have a motivating school.
A third-party institution created by the government will monitor the effectiveness of children in primary schools. Once the site survey is completed, this school will be called the district’s “motivational school”.
According to Basic Shikhsa Adhikari (BSA) Lucknow, Dinesh Kumar, “One school in each block is developing as a motivational school. In this sense, each school in the block will transform into motivational elementary schools in a few months.”
In order to improve the skills of elementary school students in math and languages, the government is establishing “Prerna Gyanotsav Abhiyan”.
This campaign will also improve children’s basic learning skills and increase the effectiveness of children who were unable to continue their lessons online during the embargo.
According to the instructions of Additional Secretary General Renuka Kumar, teachers are to evaluate students’ abilities against certain set points, according to which the effectiveness of students from 1 to 3 is determined on the basis of 14 points, while Students 4 and 5 evaluated on the basis of 16 points identified.
Once the primary teachers have declared them as motivational schools, the third institution will verify the effectiveness of the child.
It is worth mentioning that after an 11-month closure, grades 1-5 of public elementary schools will reopen as of March 1, 2021.
