LearnVern raises funding

LearnVern, the Ahmedabad-based educational technology start-up, announced on Monday that it had raised more than $ 1 million in new funding from undisclosed international investors.

The one-year start-up is an online learning platform that offers work-oriented courses in national languages and trains students.

According to the company, the funds will be used to improve the technology stack of the learning platform while creating more courses in different languages to attract more students.

Currently, LearnVern claims that more than 5.5 lakhs of students have taken 37 different courses in software development, information technology, graphic design, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and digital marketing.

“We want to develop and reach more than 4 million students studying at universities across India. The recently launched National Education Policy 2020 in India addresses vocational training and colloquialism as the two most important transformative changes that we envision as a requirement of Indian students and introduced our solutions to meet these needs, ”said Niral Modi, Founder and Director Learnvern executive.

Modi added that the platform will seek more technology enhancements, including video conferencing, peer reviews, and forums, to provide a comprehensive experience for students on the platform.

The company also seeks to use artificial intelligence-based tools to ensure that students adapt to the demands of an employer’s job after completing their course.
