Europe-based higher education networking company Global University Systems (GUS) has established the office of ‘GUS Education (India) LLP’ in Hyderabad HITEC City for supporting innovative technological solutions across country’s national level universities and colleges.
Speaking at the launch, GUS Founder and CEO Aaron Etingen said: “We will be working very closely with blue-chip companies and start-ups in India and internationally to achieve the next wave of technology and advanced processes in the education sector.”
Telangana Industries & Commerce Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated the GUS Education office amid officials present from various Government departments, GUS and industry.
The Managing Director of the Company, Shashi Jaligama, said: “The ambition is to lead the way when it comes to innovation and technology for the education industry, and we will need the most creative and talented professionals to join GUS to support our global operations and local clients.”
GUS owns and operates networks of higher education institutions such as The University of Law, London School of Business and Finance (LSBF), Arden University and the Berlin-based GISMA Business School are part of the group.
The group has recently acquired London College of Creative Media and will soon be opening a new school of management in Toronto, Canada, the statement said.
