HRD Minister: New KVs coming up in the country

In a major development, Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced the launch of four new Kendriya Vidyalayas in the Country. According to the announcement made by the minister, Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools are set to begin as KV SSB Champawat, KV Railway Dangoaposi, KV Madhupuri, and KV Sumerpur in Hamirpur.

Each of the new Kendriya Vidyalayas will be set up in the states of Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, while two Kendriya Visyalayas will be set up in Fatehpur and Hamirpur in Uttar Pradesh.

According to a statement issued by the minister, the Vidyalayas will start for students from class 1 to 5 from the 2020-21 academic year. The schools will then grow consequently based on the feasibility and each class will start with a single section as of now.

With the introduction of the four new KVs, the total number of Kendriya Vidyalaya in the country has increased to 1,239. While introducing the new Kendriya Vidyalayas in an official tweet, the minister stated that the total number of Kendriya Vidyalayas has increased to 1239 with the introduction of the new schools.

The minister also took the opportunity congratulated the students and parents who will be benefiting from the new Kendriya Vidyalayas hoping the schools will continue the teaching process in every corner of the country.
