Delhi Government launched a programme for government school students that will provide them with guidance on career choices by citizens. The citizens can provide guidance to those who are successful in their respective fields.
The “Desk ke mentor” will teach one out of 10 government school students and mentor them. Mentors will guide students every week over the phone and take out 10 minutes from their schedule. Selections of students can also be done by the mentors.
“If our students get the right guidance, they can excel in every sphere of life. We have launched this programme to help them chalk a future path with mentors guiding them beyond the role played by their teachers,” Arvind Kejriwal said while launching the programme on Monday.
In fact, the Bollywood actor Sonu Sood will be the brand ambassador of the programme.
