
Shoolini University has entered the QS World University Rankings Global Top 500 for the first time, securing the 452nd position globally and 10th place in India in the 2027 edition. The university has also retained its position as India’s No. 1 private university for the fourth consecutive year and is the only Indian private institution in the global top 500.
The university has shown consistent growth over the years, improving from the 801–1000 band in 2023 to 452nd globally in 2027. A major contributor to this achievement was its strong performance in the Citations per Faculty indicator, where it climbed from 138th to 76th globally, reflecting the growing impact of its research output.
Shoolini also improved its Employer Reputation and Sustainability rankings, highlighting its focus on industry relevance and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Founded in 2009, the university has rapidly established itself as one of India’s leading research-driven institutions.

The university has also crossed 2,000 intellectual property applications and has 19 scientists featured in Stanford University’s list of the World’s Top 2 Percent Scientists, further strengthening its global research credentials
