The next Chancellor of Allahabad University is Ashish Kumar Chauhan, the MD and CEO of the BSE (previously Bombay Stock Exchange).
On Wednesday, Ramnath Kovind, the president of Allahabad University, named Ashish Chauhan as the university’s chancellor for a five-year term.

Chauhan is an IIM Calcutta and IIT Bombay graduate.
