Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the IDEAL (Interactive Digital, Experimental, Administration and Learning) Centre at PM Shri Raigad Zilla Parishad Primary School in Vahal, Panvel, as part of the ‘Shala Praveshotsav 2026’ (School Enrollment Festival). The initiative aims to strengthen technology-enabled learning and enhance the quality of education in government schools across the state.

The IDEAL Centre has been designed to provide students with modern digital learning infrastructure, including multilingual audio-visual lessons, interactive learning tools, online assessment systems, e-desks, an e-podium, interactive whiteboards, and computer-based learning facilities. The centre will offer curriculum content for Classes 1 to 8 in English, Marathi, and Urdu, making learning more accessible and inclusive.

Equipped with 24 computers for students and a dedicated system for teachers, the facility is also designed to function up to 90% offline, ensuring uninterrupted access to educational content even in areas with limited internet connectivity.

Addressing students and educators, Fadnavis said educational reforms and digital initiatives are helping transform Zilla Parishad schools and encouraging families to choose government schools once again. He noted that technology-driven education can make classrooms more engaging while improving learning outcomes.
