Cognizance, the annual tech fest team of IIT Roorkee, has conducted the Uttarakhand Talent Search examination (UTSE) in collaboration with Uttarakhand Science Education and Research Centre (USERC).
IIT Roorkee conducted the search examination in around 14 schools of Uttarakhand. The theme of the examination was ‘Unwinding Chaos’, a small change in an initial condition can bring huge changes to the surrounding.
Cognizance is the biggest technical fest of IIT in North India.
UTSE is the statewide competition for the class 9th and 10th to identify the true potential of students. The examination was conducted in seven schools of Roorkee and seven schools of Dehradun and more than 5,000 students from ABN school, Anand Swaroop Arya Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Army Public School No.-1, Chandra Shekhar Public School, KVIIP, KV ONGC, KV No.-2, KV FRI, KV IMA, Doon Public School and Siddhartha Public School participated in the examination.
