Maharashtra Board SSC and HSC results to be announced soon

Maharashtra Board SSC and HSC results

With the second phase of COVID-19 lockdown, the Maharashtra Board SSC and HSC results 2020 is delayed yet again.

The COVID-19 lockdown has been extended until 3rd May 2020 and this further delays the assessment of Maharashtra Class 10 and 12 Board exam papers.

The Maharashtra Education Department has said that there are no means by which teachers can be sent for evaluation work and as such the assessment of Maharashtra Board SSC and HSC exam papers can be resumed only after the lockdown is lifted.

The Maharashtra Education Department had then issued a circular allowing the teachers to carry the Class 10 and 12 Board exam papers home for evaluation process to continue.

However, with no transportation in place, none of the teachers could actually carry the Maharashtra SSC and HSC exam papers home. The Education Department then announced the evaluation work would be resumed on 14th April after the lockdown ended.

However, with the extension of the lockdown, the Maharashtra Board Class 10 and 12 evaluation work is further stalled. Reportedly, over 17 lakh students have appeared for the Maharashtra Board SSC exams and over 13 lakh students appeared for the Maharashtra Board HSC exams this year.
