Rajasthan schools and coaching centers will reopen in the state from today. Schools, universities and medical institutions in the state have been closed since March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. School children must also wear masks and comply with social distancing rules. Thermal scanning is also mandatory for students.
The Rajasthan state government has also decided to restart schools in Classes 9-12 with 50 percent capacity. Participating students are only admitted with the consent of their parents.
Students from training institutions in different states must take COVID-19 tests one day before entering class. All coaching institutions must also send student details to the node administrator designated by the district collector. Disinfection is also carried out in schools and training centers.
The secretary of state also reportedly directed the district’s IAS and RAS officials to visit nearby high schools to check for compliance and motivate students and teachers.
Standard operating instructions for educational institutions require students to be six feet apart in classrooms. There is a 30 minute break between two batches in the supervision facilities, with classrooms being renovated during the period. The “no mask, no entry” rule is strictly observed, while all disinfectant items and other devices are disinfected daily according to the in-home service instructions.
To monitor social distancing and other policies related to the COVID-19 pandemic, cameras will be installed with instructions to encourage students to wash or wash their hands when entering and leaving the classroom.
