Schools in Mizoram reopen for Classes 10 and 12 as the state government is easing Covid restrictions in the state.
The schools will reopen in Aizawl Municipal Corporation (AMC) for the students, an official said.
Schools and hostels will be allowed to reopen in AMC areas and new guidelines will come into place from October 31.
Infact, other educational institutions have reopened in Covid-free areas outside AMC since September 5.

The schools and other institutions need to follow the covid protocols. The deputy commissioners will also issue guidelines so that safety and standards are maintained. All villages and towns are permitted to reopen under the supervision of deputy commissioner in consultation with district level officers of the village task force and health department.
