
The Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2021 on Thursday. There are eleven categories in NIRF India Rankings 2021– Overall, Management College, Medical, Pharmacy, Engineering, Architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), Law and Research Institutions. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has topped in the overall categories. In fact, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) ranked the best research institutions.

Following are the lists:

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad ranked the place of best B-School.

For Pharmacy studies Jamia Hamdard was declared as the top institution.

IIT Bombay got the third spot in the institution category.

AIIMS Delhi has bagged the position of top medical college followed by PGIMER Chandigarh and Christian Medical College, Vellore.

In the colleges category, Miranda House in Delhi got the first place followed by Lady Sri Ram College for Women, Delhi and Loyola College, Chennai.

Eight IITs and two national Institutes of Technology (NITs) bagged the position of top ten engineering institutions in the country.
