Report: NEET UG 2021 exam pattern will have no change

NEET UG 2021 exam pattern

The 2021 NEET National Proficiency Test exam schedule will not change this year. Earlier, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal said authorities plan to run NEET online twice a year in 2021. Now, however, the medical entrance test is done in pen-and-paper mode between June and July.

According to the Times of India report, Higher Education Secretary Amit Khare said that the exam changes, which are so brief, are unfair to students preparing for NEET 2021 and that any further delays in the exam from entry will affect the next session. In an interview, the Minister of Education said that the NTA and senior officials from the Department of Education and Health interacted to discuss whether NEET should be conducted twice a year and in a computerized manner in 2021. However, no consensus was reached on weather. With the success of running JEE Main multiple times a year and the opportunity for students to improve their scores, the requirements are the same for NEET 2021.

“We believe NEET should take place more than once a year because sometimes there is a possibility that a candidate may not be able to properly focus on a particular attempt for some reason. This should not result in a lost year. However, multiple tests cannot be performed in pen and paper modes. It has to be computerized, ”said the Times of India. Regarding the implementation of NEET in computerized mode, Khare continued: “It requires the consultation of all stakeholders because there is a difference between JEE and NEET. JEE is not required for all engineering schools, while NEET is required for admission to all medical schools. For example, suppose a biology student is unfamiliar with a computer, he has to practice and learn. For this reason, we will notify you of any changes within six to eight months.

PM Modi shares exam mantras for students

PM Modi ji

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked students who are about to take their annual exams to become warriors, not a troublesome child, and said on Sunday that he updated the warrior exam book with new, new mantras and interesting activities. In his monthly radio talk, Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi asked the students to face the exam with joy and come back with a smile.

“Most young friends will take exams. Everyone must remember this: they must become warriors, not problem children, go to the exam happy and come back with a smile. You have to compete with yourself, not someone else,” he said.

The Prime Minister urged students to get enough sleep, be careful about time management, and not stop playing. “For those who play, these are the ones who thrive. Smart review and memorization should be accepted, so in general you should do your best on these exams. You have to think about how all of this will be possible. We will do it together ”, he added.

PM Modi went on to say that he took a long time in Corona’s time and added many new mantras to the Trial Warrior book. Prime Minister Modi also urged people not to lower their guard against COVID-19. “The rules shouldn’t be neglected when it comes to Corona, either,” he said.

CBSE to hold training sessions for schools on restructured affiliation process

CBSE to hold training sessions

The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) is hosting webinars and online training for schools as part of a restructured membership system. According to CBSE, the webinar will be held to introduce schools to the new process and solve problems. The online registration process for the webinar will open March 1-8 at cbse.gov.in. The webinar begins March 9.

In a press release mentioned above, CBSE will host Middle Class, Upper Secondary and Upper Secondary Education Online Training on Improving Upper Secondary and Upper Secondary Education on March 12 from March 9-10 at 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The membership system has been restructured in accordance with various recommendations for systemic reforms set out in the New National Education Policy (NEP). According to the revised schedule, the application window for a new membership and membership upgrade will open three times a year: March 1 to March 31, June 1 to June 30, and September 1 to September 30, CBSE mentioned in his opinion.

The CBSE had introduced a facility for virtual inspection of schools for upgradation of affiliation in August last year in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The board is also in the process of setting up a facilitation centre to address queries, and problems of schools and inspection committees related to the virtual inspection.

The board had revamped its norms in 2018 for granting affiliation to schools, leaving the onus of the infrastructural audit on states and limiting its own role to academic quality monitoring.

The CBSE has 24,930 schools affiliated to it across the country and abroad, with over 2 crore students and more than 10 lakh teachers. The affiliation by-laws were formulated in the year 1998.
