CWJ gives computers in 108 Jamaica schools

CABLE & Wireless Jamaica (CWJ is collaborating with Teens 4 Technology to provide computers for 108 schools across the country.

Each school will receive 10 computers. Eleven schools will receive computers under collaboration between C&WJ and Teens 4 Technology. Under the programme, 108 schools across the Jamica will receive computers from Cable & Wireless. CWJ will also offer free ADSL to those schools,w here the service is available.  According to CWJ's president and CEO Rodney Davis, the company is building the digital divide within the country's education system. recently, CWJ has provided hundreds of new and refurbished computers and other Internet access devices for various educational institutions. The foundation also offers free Internet access to close to 400 primary and high schools across the country.
