The department of school education of Maharashtra has launched a site for admission to the junior colleges in < ?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />
The website will start functioning by June 10. 'Around 700 colleges across the Mumbai have their information on the website,' said V.K. Wankhede, deputy director, School Education Department.
'All students will be provided a separate login id through which they will be able to access all the detail about college, number of seats available etc,' added Wankhede. 'There will be only online admission. We have issued a GR in this regard. There should be no confusion on this matter now,' said Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, Minister State School Education.
