CBSE Board results 2019: CBSE class 10th and 12th results to be announced in the third week of May, said an official from the Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE).
“The results will surely come on the third week of May, but the board has not decided the date yet,” said Examination Controller Sanyam Bharadwaj.
He further informed that the board is almost done with the evaluation process of Class 12 examination whereas the evaluation of Class 10 papers is expected to get finished in the first week of May.
Speaking on whether Google and Microsoft are hosting this year’s result, the official asserted that the decision regarding this will be taken by the second week of May.
However, earlier, CBSE chairman Anita Karwal had dismissed the confirmation of the result date and had requested the media houses to not speculate about the Class 10 and Class 12 result dates.
“The date of the declaration of result will be communicated to the media house, just a day before the declaration of results. As per now, the third week of May (May 12 to 17) is the probable date for declaration of results, but it may change,” she said.
Once the result is declared, the students appeared for the exam can check the results by visiting the official websites: cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in.
Interestingly, in a first, the board had introduced apps to monitor the examination process this year. The exam centre locator (ECL) app has been developed to facilitate examinees to locate the centres, whereas another app “CBSE- Shiksha Vani” is used as a platform to launch special training audios every week in order to monitor the ongoing evaluation process.
