The deadline for direct admission to courses like Btech, MCA and B Pharma has been extended by the University of Lucknow. The students can apply for admission till November 22.
“The date for submission of applications is hereby extended upto 22-11-2021 for direct admission in vacant seats in first year BTech / MCA/ BPharm and second year BTech (Lateral Entry) programs,” a statement on the Lucknow University website said.
The eligibility criteria for BTech programmes is 60 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (10+2) examination from UP board, CBSE or any recognized board. However, 55 percent marks is required for SC/ST.
For applying in MCA programmes, the minimum requirement is 55 percent marks in BCA/BSc (computer science)/B.Sc (IT). However, the criteria for SC/ST is 50 percent.
For B Pharma programmes, the students should obtain 60 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology/Bio-Technology/Computer Science in intermediate (10+2) examination from U.P. Board, C.B.S.E. or any recognized board. For SC/ST, the criteria is 55 percent.
For BTech Programmes, the students should secure 60 percent marks in diploma in Engineering Examination from UP Board of Technical Education or any recognized board. For SC/ST, the candidates should obtain 50 percent marks.
Also, the candidates should have qualified entrance examinations like JEE 2021 or UPCET 2021 for admission.
