NEET MDS 2021 Counselling: Registration For Round 1 Concludes Today

NEET MDS 2021 Counselling

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to conclude the registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test MDS counselling today. Students who have not applied for the first round of NEET MDS 2021 counselling can visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

The process of registration will end on 24 August. The seat allotment process will start from 25 August to 26 August. However, the result will be released on August 27, 2021. In fact, the candidates will be required to report to the designated college between August 28 and September 1.

Odisha govt transforms the school into modern facilities: CM Patnaik

Odisha will set up modern facilities in more than 1,000 government schools in the state. This will be implemented in a phased manner. In the first phase, 1,070 schools will be transformed.

Odisha Chief Minister, Navin Patnaik said that the state will transform the government schools and set up modern facilities there. These modern facilities are like smart classrooms, e-library cum reading rooms, modern science laboratory, hygienic toilets, safe drinking water, and sports infrastructures.

Patnaik said in the first phase 1,070 schools will have modern facilities.

By transforming the schools in the state will bring new opportunities for the students and help them to fulfill their dreams, he added.

He inaugurated 10 such schools which have modern facilities. Like 50 schools have already been transformed completely.

These schools were inaugurated by chief minister Patnaik in a virtual model. The projects were undertaken under the 5T (Technology, Teamwork, Time, Transparency leading to Transformation) initiatives of the state government.

School reopens in Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka

Schools in Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh will reopen today for Classes 9 to 12 and Classes 6 to 8, respectively.

In Karnataka, the state has issued a Statement Of Procedures(SOPs) and it is compulsory for all educational institutions to adhere to the norms mentioned. In Uttar Pradesh, the death of former UP Chief Minister, Kalyan Singh, the state is observing a public holiday today. The released SOPs stated that the districts in UP where the COVID 19 positivity rate is less than 2 percent will reopen the schools.

It is mandatory for the schools to follow all the COVID 19 protocols. Both the states will reopen the schools to start the offline classes.

The staff and non-staff will have to be properly vaccinated and follow the covid protocols.

However, in Uttar Pradesh the classes will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will start from 8am to 12 pm and the second shift will start from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The classes will take place only with 50 percent capacity.

Tamil Nadu Class 10th Result 2021 is expected today

Tamil Nadu will release the Class 10th results today. The results will be declared by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE). The results will be available on the official website tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in.

This year the Class 10th examination was cancelled due to the covid 19 pandemic situation. Students will be evaluated with the new criteria as decided by the board.

Students need to secure at least 35 percent of marks to clear the examination. Around 9 lakhs students have appeared in the examination.

No marks will be given to the students. Only the board will mention the pass and fail in the mark sheet. Students will be assessed using the 80:20 formula.

  • Click on the Class 10th SSLC result link
  • The registration number and date of birth.
  • Class 10th SSLC result will appear on the screen

Rajasthan University extends deadline for undergraduate admission

The University of Rajasthan recently extended the last date to apply for undergraduate (UG) admission. The date has been postponed to August 23 to submit the application. Students can visit the official website admission.uniraj.edu.in.

Previously, the last date to apply was August 19. The registration process started on August 9. Around 43,831 students have registered for UG admission. Students can download the form and fill it out.

BSEB releases first cut off and merit list

Bihar OFSS Merit List 2021 for admission to Class 11 has been released by the Bihar State Education Board (BSEB). The first cut off lists are available on the official website ofssbihar.in. Students can now check the official website to find out the first cut-off lists.

The merit lists that have been released will help students take admission to Class 11 standards. However, admission is done through the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS).

How to check the first merit list:

  • Visit and Click on the link on the official website “Intermediate 2021 cut off (first selection)”
  • Student Login options will pop up
  • Login and enter the appropriate details
  • Select the district to check the cut off
  • Download the merit list
  • Take a print out

However, the last date for the enrollment process is August 24. Bihar board stated that online entry of names on OFSS portal should be done on time. For any information or discrepancies, students can reach out to the BSEB helpline number at 0612-2230009.

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2021) results declared today

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2021) has been declared today. The results are available on the official website at result.gseb.org. According to the official notice, the results were declared at 10 am.

The GUJCET 2021 results were held on August 6, 2021. The results contain details of how many scores have been obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination and the percentage they have secured. The preliminary answer key for GUJCET 2021 was announced on August 13.

On August 17, the students were allowed to raise objections to the preliminary answer key. However, the preliminary answer key will be released soon.

GUJCET examination is conducted so that students can take admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Technology/Bachelor of Pharmacy courses in government, grant-in-aid and self-financed engineering institutions in the state.

  • Click on the “GUJCET result”
  • Enter your seat number.

School will be closed down again if covid situation worsen in UP: Govt

UP schools closed again

The Uttar Pradesh government has recently decided to reopen schools for regular classes. If things worsens and the COVID 19 pandemic situation becomes intense, the government will once again close down schools in the state.

This was announced by the Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma to the state legislative council while answering questions asked by the constituency member Dhruv Kumar Tripathi.

Speaking in this context, Sharma said, “In basic education, attendance is not compulsory. We have also not made attendance mandatory for classes from 9 to 12. Guardians, teachers and political organisations have also said offline education should be started even if it is for a shorter period.”

“In UP, the present atmosphere is sufficiently secure but if there is any indication of any concern (regarding Covid), we can also close schools,” he added.

The minister also said that the vaccination for children below 18 years is expected by September and that they will be able to inoculate children.

The state government has reopened the schools from August 16 for classes 9 to 12 and for classes 6 to 8 it will reopen from August 23 and for Classes 1 to 5 from September 1.

 

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate two Academic Complexes at IIT Bhubaneswar

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate the two academic complexes at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar today.

Pushpagiri Lecture Hall Complex and Rushikulya Hall of Residence are the two complexes that will be inaugurated by the education minister. Around Rs 1,260 crore has been sanctioned for the creation of institute infrastructure.

The director of the institute said: “The lecture halls are designed to be of new age and serve as e-classrooms wherein live streaming of lectures with interaction can be done with lecture recording facility and can be used for conventional classes.”

“The lecture halls are designed to work with air-conditioning as well as natural ventilation during the winter months. The lecture halls provide electrical connections for charging of laptops, internet access through WiFi, document visualizers for board work, apart from white boards, CCTV surveillance etc,” the director added.

NEET MDS 2021 counselling process will start today

NEET MDS 2021 counselling

NEET MDS 2021 counselling for admissions will begin today. The exams were held last year. The counselling will start on August 20 to October 10.

Counselling will be held online through the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The registration process will end on 24 August, 2021.

However, the seat allotment process will start from August 25 to 26. The results will be released on August 27. The candidates will have to report to their colleges that have allotted them between August 25 and September 1, 2021.

The examination for NEET MDS was conducted on December 16 and the results were announced on December 31. There are 6,500 seats available for students clearing NEET MDS examination. Around 30,000 BDS (dental) graduates appeared for the NEET MDS examination.

The Central government has also declared a 27 percent quota for OBCs and 10 percent reservation for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) for admission in undergraduate and postgraduate medical and dental programmes for the 2021-22 academic year.
