ICSE, ISC declares Class 10 and 12 result today, check websites to know scores

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced results of Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) on Saturday. The pass percentage of ICSE is 99.98 percent and the pass percentage of ISC is 99.76 per cent.

Like last year, the board did not release any merit lists. The council had cancelled the Class 10 and 12 results in April due to the ongoing pandemic situation in the country. The marks have been given to the students on the basis of internal assessment.

In a note by the board’s Chief Executive Gerry Arathoon said, “This year has been an extremely difficult one for the entire country, with the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic wreaking havoc and impacting every aspect of life, especially the educational sector. In spite of the severe crisis, the CISCE, has against all odds and difficult circumstances, prepared, and tabulated the results…The data submitted by the schools was analysed by a team of reputed statisticians from some of the premier institutions in the country, along with senior officials of the CISCE. While devising the methodology for computing marks, the endeavour was to ensure fairness to all candidates concerned to the best possible extent.”

Around 2,19,499 ICSE candidates, 2,19,454 passed and out of a total of 94,011 ISC candidates, 93,781 passed.

-Your result will be displayed on the screen and download

Andhra Pradesh to reopen schools on August 16

Andhra Pradesh to reopen schools

Schools in Andhra Pradesh will reopen on August 16, the state government said on Friday.

The decision was taken by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at a high-level meeting. Due to the COVID situation in the state, the decision to reopen the schools was delayed.

The Chief Minister’s Office issued a statement regarding the government developments.

The official release also stated regarding the implementation of the New Education Policy 2020 for which the government will bring out detailed guidelines. The CM also announced that the second phase of Naadu-Nedu programme will be launched on August 16.

The government’s official release further stated that all existing anganwadis would be converted into satellite foundation schools. “The Foundation School will be set up within a kilometer radius and high school in a three-kilometer radius. There will not be a single school beyond the three-kilometer range bringing down the travel distance,” the statement added.

NEET UG 2021: Exams will be held in Dubai this year

The Ministry of Education will open another centre for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in Dubai, said HRD Secretary Amit Khare in a letter to Foreign Secretary, Ministry for External Affairs recently.

The centre is expected to be open this year to conduct entrance examinations.

“The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to create one more centre city in Dubai in addition to the one already created at Kuwait city during the year 2021,” Khare said in a letter to Foreign Secretary, Ministry for External Affairs.

Earlier the ministry also mentioned about conducting exams in Kuwait to facilitate Indian students in the Middleeast region. “The Indian community in the Gulf countries may appropriately be informed about this. I would also be grateful if the Indian embassies in Kuwait and Dubai are advised to extend their full cooperation to the NTA in conducting the exam in a fair and secured manner,” he added.

The NEET exam will be conducted in multiple languages such as Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu and English. The NEET exam will be conducted on September 12.

President Ram Nath Kovind appoints 12 vice chancellors to central universities, the education ministry said on Friday.

Dr Tankeshwar Kumar has been appointed as vice chancellor to the Central University of Haryana. Prof Sat Prakash Bansal was appointed as vice chancellor to the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Sanjeev Jain was appointed to the Central University of Jammu and Kshitij Bhushan Das to the Central University of Jharkhand.

In fact, Battu Satyanarayana was appointed as the VC of Karnataka University, Muthukaligan Krishan got the Central University of Tamil Nadu and Basuthkar J Rao to the Central University of Hyderabad.

Kameshwar Nath Singh has been appointed as the VC to the Central University of South Bihar, Prabha Shankar Shukla to North Eastern Hill University,

Alok Kumar to Guru Ghasidas University, Syed Ainul Hasan to Maulana Azad National Urdu University and N Lokendra Singh to Manipur University.

A total of 22 vice chancellor posts are vacant in central universities. The ministry of education filled up 12 VC posts and 10 posts are vacant.

Rajasthan Board will announce Class 12 result on July 24

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Ajmer will declare the Class 12 results on July 24.The results will be available on the official website rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in, and rajresults.nic.in.

The education minister, Govind Singh Dostara will announce the results at 4 pm. The results of all the three streams, such as science, arts and commerce will be announced. The move comes at the time when the Covid situation is improving in the state.

The students need 33 percent passing marks to clear the examination. The examination was cancelled due to Covid 19 pandemic. The assessment of Class 12 will be evaluated on the basis of performance of Class 10 and 11. The weightage will be given 40 and 20 percent.

Karnataka to vaccinate all teachers on a priority basis

The teachers of both government and private schools in Karnataka will be vaccinated against Covid 19 virus on a priority basis, said the Karnataka Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar recently. “The corona vaccine will be given on a priority basis to teachers and non-teaching staff of all government, aided and unaided private schools in the state for the early re-opening of schools keeping the future of children in mind,” the minister said.

The minister wants to reopen schools soon and it is important that all teaching staff of the schools are properly vaccinated. The schools were shut down due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Online classes have been conducted to impart learning for the students.

Rajasthan Schools will reopen from August 2: Govind Singh Dotasra

Schools in Rajasthan will reopen from August 2, 2021. This was announced by the Education Minister, Govind Singh Dotasra on Thursday.

The decision to reopen the schools had been taken at a Cabinet meeting. The education minister of Rajasthan had declared it on his social media handle.

All schools in the state were shut down due to the ongoing pandemic. Slowly most schools in other states are reopening and Rajasthan is following the same.

A total of 22 COVID cases were registered in Rajasthan on July 21 and 55 recoveries were confirmed with a total of 358 active cases was also confirmed.

IIMC announces date for entrance exam 2021

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has announced the dates for entrance examination. The exams will be held on August 29. Students can apply at iimc.nta.ac.in.

This entrance test is conducted for all journalism courses admission at IIMC. The entrance test is conducted by the National Testing Agency. It will be held in 25 cities across the country.

The entrance exam will be conducted for courses such as Journalism (English), Journalism (Hindi), Radio & TV Journalism, Advertising & Public Relations. There will be two shifts in which the exams will be conducted from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The results for the entrance exam will be declared on September 10. IIMC has six campuses across India- New Delhi, Dhenkanal, Aizwal, Amravati, Kottayam, and Jammu.

ICSI announces CSEET results, students can check website

ICSI announces CSEET results

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India announces the result of CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2021. The examination was conducted in July. The students can login to icsi.edu and get the results of the entrance examination.

The results and marks are also available on the official website. The students can refer to it. No physical copies will be issued to the students.

How to check the CSEET 2021 Result:

  • Visit icsi.edu
  • A page will open, enter the registration number and date of birth
  • Download CSEET 2021 result-cum-marks statement.

The entrance exam was held on July 10 and July 12, 2021. The pass percentage of clearing the CSEET is 50 percent.

West Bengal Class 12 result will be declared today

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will declare Class 12 results today. The results will be available on the official website wbresults.nic.in.

The marks sheet will be distributed on July 23 onwards. The Council said, “All the Heads of Higher Secondary Institutions or their authorised representatives are requested to collect HS mark-sheets and other relevant documents from their respective Distribution Camps from 11.00 a.m. onwards on 23/07/2021 and issue the same to concerned guardians/candidates as early as possible maintaining proper protocol and social distancing.”

The examinations for Class 12 have been cancelled earlier due to COVID 19. The alternative assessment will be done for the Class 12 students. The council said the evaluation of Class 12 will be done using 40:60 formulae.
