Maharashtra likely to declare Class 10 results, students need to check official website

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is expected to announce the results for Class 10 or SSC examination. The results will be available on the official website of the board. Maharashtra’s school education minister, Varsha Gaikwad declared that the Class 10 results would be out today (July 15).

According to the media reports, the date and time of the declaration of Class 10 results will be available on the official website of the board. Students can check it there. However, media reports state that the results are expected to be declared by July 18. It has also been stated that the scores will be out by July 23.

Maharashtra is also gearing up to reopen schools in the state. The state has said that they will reopen schools where there are no COVID cases. Due to the current scenario, the examination for Class 10 got postponed.

The performance of Class 10 will be assessed on the basis of marks of Class 9.

Himachal Board announced the Class 12th results

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) announced its Class 12 results on Wednesday. The total pass percentage is 92.7 percent. In the exam, 1,00,799 appeared in total.

Out of this, 702 students have been in the category of compartment. The results are available on the official website of Himachal Board.

In 2021, 3,679 candidates secured 90 percent marks. Due to Covid, the board exams were postponed and yet did not take place within the stipulated time. Results have been declared on the formula devised by CBSE. It is also said that if any student is unsatisfied with the results, they can appear in the examination to be held after the COVID situation is under control.

A total of 86,663 students appeared in the Class 12th exam last year. The pass percentage last year was 76.07 per cent.

  • Enter the roll number in the space mentioned and click to get the results
  • The results will be displayed on the screen
  • Download the results and take out a print out

Madhya Pradesh schools to reopen from July onwards: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

The State of Madhya Pradesh will reopen its schools and colleges from August 1. The chief minister of the state, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that Class 11 and 12 will reopen from July 25 and colleges will open from August 1.

The minister also said the schools will reopen with 50% capacity.

He added if there is no third wave then classes will open for smaller classes even. “Covid-19 is under control for now. We’re monitoring the situation. Preparations are being done for the third wave,” Chouhan said.

The Covid cases are constantly falling in Madhya Pradesh in the last few weeks. No cases were reported from 42 districts of the state. From peak 13000 cases during April-May, the state just recorded 23 fresh cases on Tuesday. The state-wide tally and death toll were 7,91,583 and 10,508, respectively.

JEE Main 2021 Admit Card for third session released

The admit card for the third session of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) – Main 2021 has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The examination will be held on July 20-25.

According to NTA’s document, the candidates for BE/BTech Paper I were given time between July 6 to 8 to change the particulars for those who applied for the third session.

The first and second session of JEE Main 2021 finished in the months of February and March respectively. However, the remaining session got postponed due to Covid 19 second wave.

According to information available, the fourth session of JEE Main will be held between July 27 and August 2. The results for the first two sessions are expected to be announced in August.

NEET PG examination will be held in September

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrace Test (NEET) exam date was announced on Tuesday. The exams will be held on September 11, said Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.

NEET PG exam is conducted for admission to postgraduate medical courses. The health minister said, “We have decided to conduct the NEET Postgraduate exam on 11th September, 2021. My best wishes to young medical aspirants.” The minister tweeted via its Twitter handle.

NEET-PG is an examination for various PG Diploma and MD/MS courses. The National Board of Examinations will conduct the exams.

The registration for NEET PG examination is starting from today. The application forms for NEET PG exam are available on the official website, however, the deadline is till August 6.

The exam was to be held on April 18 but due to the pandemic it got postponed.

Dharmendra Pradhan Education Minister reviews the Digital Education initiatives of the Ministry

The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reviewed the Digital Education initiatives of the Ministry of Education including PM e-Vidya, National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR), Swayam, among others.

Emphasizing the importance of leveraging technology in Education, Pradhan said that technology would help in achieving the goals of an open, inclusive and accessible education.

“A vibrant digital ecosystem in education will expand learning opportunities for the students, spur innovation and entrepreneurship in the Education sector,” he added.

Minister of State (MoS) Annpurna Devi; MoS Rajkumar Ranjan Singh and MoS Dr Subhas Sarkar also attended the meeting. Senior officials of the Ministry briefed the Ministers about these initiatives.

The Minister noted that COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a shift towards digital medium of education and assured that digital initiatives taken by the Ministry to ensure continuity of Education will be further strengthened and institutionalised.

CBSE Class 10th, 12th result will not be declared this week

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not declare Class 10 board results this week.

A higher official from the board told a news daily, “The result will not be out this week. We will also be releasing a circular today for schools that have not yet submitted marks to the board. We will issue directives for such schools in the notice.”

The board earlier was expected to declare the results by July 15 and the results cannot be declared now as the school did not submit the marks.

In 2020, the class 10 result was declared on July 15. Last year, when the coronavirus spread was at its peak, the board had already conducted most of the exams for class 10, except a few in the Northeast Delhi region due to violence in the city. But several exams for class 12 were not held. Keeping in mind the coronavirus outbreak, the CBSE had devised an alternative marking scheme.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announces NEET UG examination date

The undergraduate National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2021 date has been announced. The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan declared on Monday that the examination will be conducted on September 12.

The application process will begin from 5 pm on July 13 through the website of National Testing Agency (NTA), Pradhan added.

“The NEET UG 2021 will be held on 12th September 2021 across the country following COVID-19 protocols. The application process will begin from 5 pm tomorrow through the NTA website(s). (sic),” the Minister tweeted.

The number of cities that will conduct the examination has been increased from 155 to 198, Pradhan said. However, the number of examination centers will also increase to 3,862. The examinations will be conducted under strict COVID protocols.
